Best Vegan Food in Arizona [Phoenix + Tucson]

Arizona has lots of options for yummy vegan food! While spending a few months exploring the Phoenix and Tuscon area, I had the opportunity to try many different places and found the best (and the worst!) vegan food and drinks.

In this blog, I share all of my favorite vegan options in Arizona. I will be updating this list as I inevitably find new places. Enjoy!

Green New American Vegetarian

This is a Phoenix favorite for me. This artsy, quirky vegan restaurant has all of your favorite comfort foods vegan-ized. They use organic ingredients whenever possible, and are very environmentally conscious. They’re American Green Business certified, and a Phoenix Green Business Leader for their sustainable practices. Read their menu here.

Seed Shack

I ordered delivery from here and loved it! The buffalo cauliflower nachos were delicious. Although I wish I had eaten in the restaurant after seeing photos online of their “whimsical, garden-inspired setting.” So cute!!! Click here to view the whole menu.

Picazzo's Healthy Italian Kitchen

Picazzo’s offers a healthy, mostly organic take on Italian food. This family-owned restaurant uses whole food ingredients and has an incredible vegan menu! Check it out here. I loved the vegan chick’n parmesan.

The Uprooted Kitchen

We found ourselves walking here for brunch many times during our stay in Arizona. Located in the Phoenix suburb of Gilbert, their menu consists of light meals and mind blowing-ly good vegan pastries (my favorite was the sunbutter cookie!) They use organic produce, and lots of their ingredients are locally sourced (they’re located in the neighborhood Agritopia, which is built around an organic farm). You can view their full menu here.

Lovin' Spoonfulls

This vegan specialist restaurant serves filling, high-quality meals. They have a breakfast, lunch and, dinner menu, along with drinks and desserts. Make sure to try their amazing shakes! View their menu here.
