I’ve been obsessed with Portland since the first time I visited. So it was no surprise that this was where I decided to go when I was planning my first ever solo trip earlier this year. Portland offers so many organic, healthy, and insanely delicious options throughout the city.
In this blog, I share all of my favorite spots for food and drinks in Portland. I will be updating this list as I inevitably find new places. Enjoy!
VooDoo Doughnut
This famous doughnut shop has the most unique doughnuts you’ll ever see. Inside, you’ll find a fun and colorful atmosphere to match their quirky, pink to-go boxes. They have vegan and non-vegan options, along with coffee. One of my favorites is their signature VooDoo Doll doughnut. This place is a can’t-miss when visiting Portland.
Veggie Grill
Veggie Grill serves vegan burgers, tacos, bowls, and more. Their veganized take on classic american grilled dishes is amazing and delicious.
Canteen
Located in Southeast Portland, this trendy, vegan cafe offers lots of healthy options. The menu consists of smoothies, juices, salads, veggie bowls, and more. The CBD matcha is amazing! Check out the menu here.
Vtopia
This vegan restaurant and cheese shop is one of my favorite spots in Portland. They’re located in Goose Hollow District, a short walk from the TriMet Station. All of their ingredients are organic and locally sourced whenever possible. Give the menu a look here.
Bye and Bye
This plant-based Portland bar and restaurant is located in the Alberta district. They have yummy drinks (try their signature drink, the Bye & Bye!) and the food is super delicious (the mac and cheese is my fav).
Virtuous Pie
Your go-to spot for vegan pizza. Also the garlic knots are amazing. This 100% vegan pizzareia’s menu consists of salads, a variety of handcrafted pizzas, ice cream, and more. The staff are sooo friendly. VegNews Magazine rated them as North America’s best vegan pizzareia in 2020. You can view their menu here.
Eb and Bean
Yummy, organic frozen yogurt with lots of toppings to choose from. They offer dairy and non-dairy options. I’ve been here many times and tried out lots of different flavors and combos. All have been amazing! Read the full menu here.
Little Chickpea
This is one of my favorite stops in Portland. Little Chickpea is dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, nut-free, non-GMO, sustainably produced, and environmentally friendly. And it’s all made with chickpeas! Their flavors are unique and delicious. I’ve visited here a few times and so far, I’ve tried the flavors Triple Chocolate, Blueberry Bergamot, and Banana Curry. All three were AMAZING. Check out their menu here.
Tea Bar
Delicious, high-quality tea drinks. Give the iced matcha latte with mango a try. Or one of their hot teas infused with herbs like rose or lavender. View the full menu here.
