the creation of Be Well
Wellness is forever redefining itself. It isn’t a destination—it’s an evolving journey. It’s listening to the body and tuning into what it needs. It’s an approach that empowers you through knowledge, understanding, and evidence-based research, while honoring ancestral wisdom and trusting your own intuition. It’s a blend of mindful movement, nourishing food, high quality travel, holistic wellness, and a consistent commitment to internal growth.
It’s not about perfection, it’s about progress. And striving everyday to live more intentionally, more authentically, and more joyfully—because wellness isn’t just about how we look or what we eat; it’s about how we feel, how we show up for ourselves, and how we create a life that aligns with our truest selves.

Through the experience of having a family member who was unwell for most of life, I found myself drawn to understanding wellness on a deeper level. This led me on a personal health journey that completely transformed and elevated my life. I established a balanced, holistic understanding of what it meant to be well. I dove head first into learning more about evidence based nutrition, low tox living, yoga, aromatherapy, mindfulness, and other topics.
I’ve always been driven by a deep intention to create. The idea of starting a blog lived within the back of my mind for years. In 2018, I started a travel blog under a different name, and eventually rebranded to Be Well in order to reflect the full spectrum of my offering. Everyone has a different version of what it means to “be well”. In this space, I offer you tools to explore what this looks like for you.

In 2018 I went vegan and was immediately inspired by plant-based cooking. This also led me down a path of learning more about nutrition. As I engrained the habit of checking food labels and being mindful of the ingredients in my food, I started to wonder about the ingredients in the everyday products I was using as well. I began transitioning out toxic chemicals for natural alternatives that were healthier to myself and the planet.
As I was stepping into the healthiest version of myself physically, I was simultaneously struggling with life long mental health struggles. Recognizing trauma and outdated thought patterns, I started looking into ways to heal my mind. I’ve practiced yoga since my pre teen years and found that the practice grounds me through all phases of my life. I completed my yoga teacher training in 2022 and have been teaching yoga full time ever since.

It is with the highest intentions that I share this blog. My hope is you find peace and healing within this space. Thanks for being here.
